Founder of SOF, Regina San Morgan grew up in Cambodia. In the mid 1970s Regina’s family fled because of the political conflict with the Khmer Rouge. Her father, Sambo San used his political hierarchy to rescue many Cambodian families and helped provide food and shelter for them in Thailand. Afterwards, relocating his family to Canada in 1979 from Thailand.
Regina San Morgan graduated from the University of Windsor in 1995 with an Economics & Finance Degree and Psychology. She has always had an innate passion for helping others. She is committed to help orphans and disadvantage children in Cambodia with the help of her family and friends, began the steps to seeing a lifelong dream come true. Motivated to continue efforts in their father’s memory, Regina has set up San Orphans Organization (SOO) in Cambodia.
With a successful career in Business Development Manager and working with children, Regina dedicated free time to help children. She believes a child is precious and should be loved, cared for and be protected. She hopes everyone will join her in making a difference in those orphans’ lives. Through her father’s teaching, Regina is convinced that the world is interconnected and by helping a child we will indeed make the world a better place.
